Tornado in Galesburg

On Thursday a tornado ripped through my town and other towns near by at around 1:15 pm. We had no warning. I heard some noise and it took a minute to realize it was rain. I looked out the window and it was crazy. The rain was falling so fast you couldn’t see anything else but the rain. The wind started blowing hard.

I ran to the back door and looked out that window. The car windows were down and I ran out to close them. As I go down the stairs I see the wind going in circles. I turn around. I decided to run to the car anyways and put up the windows just in case it was still there when this storm left. I ran back in because there were all kinds of crap blowing through the air. I get the family and put them in the basement.

It took maybe 15 minutes for the tornado to pass by but it seemed like alot longer. I go outside and check out the aftermath.

We had no power until late last night. I didn’t have internet until this afternoon. It was crazy.

Michael Vick - Someone has to speak out.

Michael Vick is yet another victim of the “fair system” that we have. He was wrongly accused of animal cruilty because he let a family member live in one of his properties. The family member was running a bad business on his property. Michael Vick had two options. Because it was his property he could either fight the charges and lose, or he could plead guilty and cushion the penalty that shouldn’t have been his in the first place.

The sad truth is that honest law abiding people end up getting blamed for something they never did. Yet there is nobody around that speaks up for them.
